LeaderTelecom B.V. is VAT-registered with the UK’s HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) and has a UK VAT number (GB373878249) , so we can charge UK VAT as normal. All invoices for UK customers now include 20% VAT, although still denominated in EUR as the company’s tax residency is the Netherlands.

SSL/TLS Certificate Validity to Be Reduced to 47 Days by 2029

The CA/Browser Forum has announced a gradual reduction in SSL/TLS certificate validity. By March 2029, certificate validity will be gradually reduced to just 47 days.

No more WHOIS based domain email validation method

Google will ban the WHOIS-based domain validation on the 15th of January 2025. It was done in view of the fact that WHOIS had allowed WatchTowr Labs to obtain fraudulently issued certificates. We recommend using other DCV methods due to these changes.
